The kids all wanted their turn to be buried in the sand. A friend of ours buried one, then the next and then the third. After 20 seconds in teh sand they would jump up and demand to be buried again. So instead of burying them all again individually, they all jumped in the same hole!

Last Days of Summer
We discovered a pristine part of the bay toward the end of summer and it became our new favorite place. So on the last Friday of summer vacation we packed up and headed to the beach for some fun and a bbq with friends. It is this tiny little spot with crystal clear water and soft clean sand. It almost feels like we are on vacation enjoying the beach with our little family. Then we sigh with pleasure and remember that we can come here anytime we want! Happy end of Summer!

The kids all wanted their turn to be buried in the sand. A friend of ours buried one, then the next and then the third. After 20 seconds in teh sand they would jump up and demand to be buried again. So instead of burying them all again individually, they all jumped in the same hole!
Emma grabbed her life jacket in the garage so she could swim in the deep water by herself. She wore it all afternoon while playing in the sand and took it off when she was ready to go swimming. Figure that one out!
This is the new way to experience boogie boarding! You don't even need surf! Just hop on, hold on, and daddy pulls you around the bay as fast as his strong arms can pull! It's the new growing trend!
Daddies are not only great for pulling you around the bay, but they are laughing, giggling jungle gyms! They laugh harder the more kids that pile on!
Daddies also make great airplane instructors. They let you climb on then teach you how to fly while you are high up there!
So run out and get your own daddy today!

remember that spot when we get to come again, I'm loving the grassy part of it! We are so sad that we can't come this year, but oh well, maybe we can squeeze in two trips next year! Looks like great fun and we too are loving only 2 at home. We just need to get out a little more often with the little ones!
