Boy Scout Jamboree, take 2

Each year the Boy Scout troop that Andy helps lead puts on this amazing event that give hundreds of local scouts the opportunity to earn several merit badges in the 2 day event. This year over 400 scouts attended. They can earn merit badges including woodworking, fire safety, cinematography, art. The list of offered possibilities is quite long. Andy helps put on the woodworking class and he is gone from early Friday afternoon until late Saturday night. We usually come down to visit him during his break and have lunch.









Or so the excuse goes. Really I think the kids want to come for the big toys! The fire trucks and helicopters are usually the highlight of their day! Oh, and there is a firefighter on the end of the ladder doing a rescue demonstration. Cameron thought the was the most amazing thing he has ever seen!
